A rock-concert style tribute to the King of Pop will come to Gwinnett, as one of the stops on the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour.

Cirque du Soleil, as well as the Jackson’s estate, announced Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 concert dates at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth.

The show, which is a departure from Cirque du Soleil’s previous shows, is one of the top 10 grossing music tours of all time, since its premiere in October of 2011.

Using Jackson’s music and lyrics, the show features 49 international dancers, musicians and acrobats in a rock-concert format to present the late artist’s messages of love, peace and unity, a press release said.

Starting Monday, Cirque Club members have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets at www.cirqueclub.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29. Ranging in price from $50 to $150, tickets will be available at www.cirquedusoleil.com/MichaelJackson or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX, as well as at the Arena’s box office or at GwinnettCenter.com.
