DULUTH — The Arena at Gwinnett Center is kicking off the holidays with some big names in the music business.

On Oct. 27, Michael Buble is performing at 8 p.m.

Prices range from $62.50 to $118. Buble, whose “To Be Loved” CD is No. 1 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Pop Charts, started his tour on Sept. 7 at the United Center in Chicago. The album is the fourth straight by the Canadian singer to reach the top of the charts.

“I’m very excited to get back on the road and perform for my fans,” Buble said in a release. “It’s been awhile but we’re rested up and ready to have a big party on stage every night.”

Buble has already sold out 10 nights at the 17,000-seat 02 Arena in London on June 30 and five nights at the 10,000-seat 02 in Dublin on July 15.

On Dec. 16, Star 94’s annual Jingle Jam returns to Duluth with the Backstreet Boys, The Fray and Avril Lavigne.

Tickets go on sale noon Oct. 18 through GwinnettCenter.com, at the Arena box office or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX. Prices range from $30 to $100.

The Backstreet Boys are a boy band formed in Orlando, Fla. in 1993. The group consists of A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell. They found their raise to fame in the late ’90s with hits like, “Backstreet’s Back,” “I Want It That Way” and “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart).”

The Fray hit the big-time with its song “How to Save a Life,” which was featured on an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Since then, the group has released two other albums. A new album will be finished and ready for the public in 2014.

Canadian singer Avril Lavigne hit the airwaves in the early 2000s with her first album “Let’s Go.” She’s known for her songs “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi” and “I’m With You.”
