Infinite Energy Arena visitors will find their walks into the concert and athletic venue a little more musical this summer.

The Gas South District, which the Arena is part of, announced on Tuesday that it has repainted the crosswalks connecting the parking lots to the arena entrance to look like piano keys. It was done to promote events taking place at the facility this summer — including this week’s Paul McCartney concert — while also creating a little public art.

“The piano keys crosswalk is a fun way to promote the exciting things that are happening at the Arena,” Gas South District Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development Robyn Ali said. “We hope the thousands of guests that will be attending upcoming concerts will use them as a great photo opportunity to capture their experience.”

Center officials said the new crosswalk was installed over the two-day period, with a large white rectangle being painted on the first day. Stencil to separate the regular scale keys, and the black flat and sharp keys, were added on the second day.

The new crosswalk comes on the heels of center officials naming a new road at the venue Paul McCartney Boulevard.

Officials said residents can find the Gas South District’s full list of summer events and activities at www.InfiniteEnergyCenter.com
