The Infinite Energy Arena is giving a whole new meaning to the throwback concept in sports.
Instead of throwback uniforms, the arena is welcoming a new concession stand in partnership with Proof of the Pudding that features a throwback concession theme. The stand, called Cheap Eatz, debuted during the Atlanta Gladiators’ home game Friday.
“It was important to us to respond to our fans and recognize the trends of low-pricing concession options,” Infinite Energy Center General Manager Joey Dennis said in a statement. “We accomplished this by converting an unutilized space into a concession area where fans can gather for good food at great prices.”
The stand will be located across from Sections 111 and 112 and will be open during Atlanta Gladiators and Georgia Swarm home games during those teams’ 2018-2019 seasons.
Infinite Energy Center officials said the stand has old menu display cases and graphics, as well as lower prices intended to reflect prices that customers would have paid in the past. Those prices include $2 for hot dogs, $3 for beer and $1 to $3 for snacks.
