The Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are set to present the Christmas program ‘Let There Be Peace on Earth’ at the Infinite Energy Theater in Atlanta on Dec. 18. This will be an excellent time to take the family for a show that highlights the spirit of Christmas.

The program will be a time for remembering family and friends, as well as our home planet and celebrating the birth of Jesus over 2,000 years ago. The show will also highlight Santa Claus as children from the audience join the Jolly Old Elf and his cast of holiday characters on stage to conduct the orchestra playing the song ‘Sleigh Ride,’ according to information from Gas South District.

‘Let There Be Peace On Earth’ will inspire children and adults with the joy and wonder of Christmas while being entertained by popular holiday songs and festive characters. The program will be meaningful, but will also have a spirit of fun and joy.

The Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will be conducted by Rick Smith. The program will include inspiration Christmas music, like ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,’ ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ and ‘Gloria.’  They will also perform fun-filled songs about Rudolph, Frosty, Snowflake, and a mash-up of songs about Santa Claus, according to information from Gwinnett.
