Disney on Ice's 'The Wonderful World of Disney' to skate into Atlanta's Infinite Energy Arena in February

"The Wonderful World of Disney" will be getting the ice treatment this winter, and the popular Disney on Ice show is set for an expansive U.S. tour beginning next year. The performance will make stops in seven arenas across the country, including Atlanta's Infinite Energy Arena, between February and March.

This year's "The Wonderful World of Disney" show will begin its national tour on Jan. 24 at Legacy Arena at BJCC in Birmingham, Ala. It then travels to Bojangles' Coliseum in Charlotte for a five-night stay between Jan. 31 and Feb. 4. North Charleston Coliseum in South Carolina is next on the docket between Feb. 7 and 11 before it heads to Atlanta's Philips Arena. It will play at Infinite Energy Arena between Feb. 22 and 25 and wrap with performances at Columbus Civic Center in Georgia and Cincinnati's U.S. Bank Arena on March 11.

One of Disney on Ice's latest shows, "The Wonderful World of Disney" features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald embarking on a trip down memory lane with segments of many classic Disney movies. "Frozen," "The Lion King," "Finding Dory," "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" are among the dozen-plus movies to be featured in "The Wonderful World of Disney." It officially opened in October 2016 with special previews in China before hitting the U.S. for its inaugural tour in 2017.
