Childish Gambino a.k.a award-winning, multi-hyphenate artist Donald Glover has announced dates for his upcoming North American tour.

On Sept. 6, the month-long tour kicks off in Atlanta before heading to 13 cities across the continent ending Sept. 30 in Vancouver. Gambino, of Stone Mountain, appears in Atlanta with special guest Rae Sremmurd at Infinite Energy Arena. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 12 p.m. this Friday, March 9  at Ticketmaster.com. American Express Card Members can get special access to tickets before the general public on Tuesday, March 6 at 12 p.m. through Thursday, March 8 at 10 p.m.

Childish Gambino’s last live music production, “PHAROS,” took place in 2016 at Joshua Tree, California. There he debuted songs from his third studio album “Awaken, My Love!” The certified gold album was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards, while “Redbone” won for Best Traditional R&B Performance and received nominations for Record of the Year and Best R&B Song. In between making music, Gambino as Glover has been hard at work on his award-winning FX comedy “Atlanta” which returned to the small screen on March 1. Season 2 is still quirky but a bit darker, said show director Hiro Murai during recent episode screenings at Starlight Drive in.

Glover also recently made headlines when he purchased 113 boxes of Girl Scout cookies from a Girl Scout who went viral singing “Redbone.”
