2017 is shaping up to be a big year for Roger Waters, and the end of his 2016 is ending on quite the bang too.

Apart from being one of the main attractions at Desert Trip, the mega-festival in Indio, California this year, the musician and singer-songwriter has also announced a massive North American tour and has teased at the potential release of a new album in 2017. Roger Waters and the words “new record” don’t generally go together. After splitting from Pink Floyd in the ‘80s, he released a few solo records, his last coming in 1992. This upcoming project--which is said to be produced by Nigel Godrich of Radiohead fame--will be Waters’ first album in 25 years. Just what ideas and concepts have been flitting around in Waters’ head for a quarter of a decade is anyone’s guess, but you can bet it will be thought provoking and amazing live.

But until we get new material, Waters’ 2017 Us+Them arena tour will likely include all of the other classics that have made him one of the biggest concert draws in the world. As part of the Us+Them tour, Waters will stop at Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Arena on July 16. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. EDT. For more information, click here.
