Members of A&E’s Duck Dynasty loin Women of Faith in Duluth to celebrate 5 million attendees

Missy Robertson to speak at the nation’s largest live event for Christian women

PLANO, Texas, October 17, 2013 – Missy and Mia Robertson, members of the famed Duck Dynasty family, will join Women of Faith for a weekend celebrating the organization’s historic 5 millionth attendee. Speaking at the Duluth “Believe God Can Do Anything” Oct. 25th tour stop, Missy Robertson will share a heart-to-heart talk with attendees about faith, family and ducks.

Missy Robertson, wife of Jase Robertson and mother of Reed, Cole and Mia, will round-out the Women of Faith Duluth speaker line-up, which includes Max Lucado, Sheila Walsh and Mark Lowry.

“For four seasons, the Robertson family has been proclaiming their faith in Christ through the Duck Dynasty series,” said Lisa Harper, Director of Ministry at Women of Faith. “God has given them a platform to show millions of people who tune into their show the importance of family and faith. They are great role models for Christians nationwide, and we are thrilled to be sharing the stage with them to celebrate our 5 millionth attendee throughout 17 years of ministry.”

In celebration of the 5 millionth attendee Women of Faith will encourage women to pose for photos and share how Women of Faith has impacted their lives on Women of Faith’s website at http://www.womenoffaith.com/mystory/. Additionally, one woman will be chosen to represent the 5 millionth attendee and will be given special access to Women of Faith through backstage passes and VIP seating.

Women of Faith makes a point to meet women right where they are and share messages of hope and encouragement with them,” said Missy Robertson. “We are proud to be a part of this celebration of God’s faithfulness through 17 years of ministry.”

In addition to the Robertson’s appearance on stage, award-winning musical artists CeCe Winans and Third Day as well as comedian Mark Lowry, and authors and Bible teachers Lucado, Walsh, Liz Curtis Higgs, Lisa Harper, Angie Smith and Charles Stanley will come together in Duluth to create an unforgettable, day-and-a-half experience for women from all walks of life.  Women of Faith will also host a similar event in Sacramento, simultaneous to the Duluth event.

The 2013 tour theme, ‘Believe God Can Do Anything,’ was created to inspire women to let go of the pain, planning and stress by handing their lives over to the only One who can make anything possible, God. The ‘Believe God Can Do Anything’ tour will make a total of 24 stops in cities across the U.S. starting on August 2 in Oklahoma City, Okla., and wrapping up in Louisville, Ky., on November 15.
