DULUTH — A couple of bearded, camo-wearing celebrities from West Monroe, La. are scheduled to highlight the “Outdoor Blast” this week.

“Duck Dynasty” characters John Godwin and Tim “Mountain Man” Guerney, stars of the popular show on the A&E network, will visit the Gwinnett Center in Duluth for the seventh annual event that features vendors offering products for all hunting seasons.

Godwin will be available for pictures and autographs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, while Guermoy will be there from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $8.

The event will feature a display of the state’s best bucks from last season in the “Big Buck Wall of Fame.” It will also include a “Truck-Buck Shootout,” a pellet-rifle competition where the winner takes home a new four-wheel drive truck from John Megel Chevrolet.

Attendees can also watch the Georgia State Duck Calling Contest on Sunday where the champion earns a ticket to the World’s Championship Duck Calling contest in Stuttgart, Ark.
