Conference at Arena expected to draw 13,000 church leaders

DULUTH — A three-day conference this week will draw more than 13,000 church leaders from around the world to Gwinnett County.

From Wednesday through Friday, the Catalyst Conference will convene at the Arena at Gwinnett Center offering an experience intended to enlighten and rejuvenate leaders to be “catalysts” in today’s church culture.

Speakers for Catalyst 2013 include Chief Executive Officer of Burberry and one of Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women, Angela Ahrendts; Mayor of Newark, N.J., and one of Time’s 2012 Most Influential People, Cory Booker; senior pastor of North Point Ministries and author of “Deep and Wide,” Andy Stanley; award-winning journalist and best-selling author of “Outliers” and “The Tipping Point,” Malcolm Gladwell; and founder of Going Beyond Ministries and author of “Discerning the Voice of God,” Priscilla Shirer.
